Local Event Information Please join us for Walk With Me Broward on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Markham Park in Sunrise. By participating in our 5K walk, you will help Easter Seals South Florida in providing life-changing services to the 3,000 children and adults we serve with disabilities and other special needs in our community. The 5K walk begins with registration at 8:00am followed by the walk starting at 9:00am. All participants will have an opportunity to meet the Honorary Ambassadors and learn about the impact YOU can make in their lives-- just by taking a walk on a spring morning! Money raised through Easter Seals Walk With Me will support a variety of local services in South Florida including: Children's Therapy Services; programs for children with autism spectrum disorder; Child Development Center; Culinary Arts High School program; Adult Day Care for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and memory loss; and in-home respite care. We will also be happy to provide the required documentation for students working to fulfill a community service requirement.
