Local Event Information Join Honorary Chairs Kent, Carol and Alan Schien and UCP Easter Seals Heartland for a morning of fun and fitness as we walk to put hope within reach for people with disabilities! Our 9th Annual Walk With Me will be held in Creve Coeur Park on Saturday, July 24, 2010.  Gather a group together for your choice of either a 5K run/walk/wheel or a one-mile family fun walk.  Both routes begin at the Tremayne Shelter.  Strollers, wagons and pets on leashes are all welcome! Walk With Me includes plenty of refreshments and fun activities for the whole family.  A $25 donation is all it takes to enter and you'll receive a Walk With Me t-shirt.  Invite others to support your efforts and in no time your fundraising total will grow, giving you the opportunity to earn additional prizes. Challenge each other or simply challenge yourself  get up, get moving and feel good about giving!

Whether you walk as an individual or a team, you will be partnered with an Easter Seals Honorary Ambassador -- an Easter Seals client from your community. Your support helps make it possible for Easter Seals to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to live with equality, dignity and independence.

Walk to increase disability awareness
Easter Seals Walk With Me provides the opportunity to meet people with a disability, and learn about each person's abilities -- not just their disabilities -- and the obstacles that might get in the way of their independence. Expanding your knowledge is a step toward helping others reach their goals.
