We invite you to tie up those shoelaces, gather up friends and family, and take a beautiful early summer walk for children with disabilities and special needs! The 8th annual Walk With Me 5K is being held on Saturday, June 12th at Roger Williams Park Carousel in Providence.
If you enjoyed the event in the past, then you will be pleased to learn that we have added even more excitment to this year's event, including food, music, sponsor booths, arts and crafts projects for the kids and more!
Join us as we celebrate the beginning of summer with a mini-carnival that is jam-packed with fun and activities for kids of all ages!
This event will raise funds to help provide free services to hundreds children and their families with disabilities and special needs throughout the state. Children just like Honorary Ambassadors Luna, Summer and Moses. |

Walk to support your Easter Seals Walk With Me Honorary Ambassador
Whether you walk as an individual or a team, you will be partnered with an Easter Seals Honorary Ambassador -- an Easter Seals client from your community. Your support helps make it possible for Easter Seals to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to live with equality, dignity and independence.
Walk to increase disability awareness
Easter Seals Walk With Me provides the opportunity to meet people with a disability, and learn about each person's abilities -- not just their disabilities -- and the obstacles that might get in the way of their independence. Expanding your knowledge is a step toward helping others reach their goals.
Walk to change the lives of children and adults with disabilities
Each dollar you raise supports local Easter Seals programs and services in your area. Help people learn to walk, talk and perform other skills essential to daily living; find fulfilling jobs; reach individualized goals early in life; age with dignity; and participate in recreation programs.
