Local Event Information Come and join Easter Seals Arkansas as we celebrate our 11th Annual Rollin’ on the River, a Walk with Me event. On September 19th, we will meet in Downtown North Little Rock at the North Shore Riverwalk with a 5K Race and a 2K Family Fun Walk. This event is for people of all ages and abilities, so bring the whole family. As part of Easter Seals Walk with Me series, each participant will be assigned an honorary ambassador, someone who receives services from Easter Seals Arkansas. You will receive a bio and subsequent emails from your ambassador as the event draws near. The best part is when, on event day, you will be able to meet your honorary ambassador. Help us raise money for Easter Seals Arkansas. You will be amazed at how easy it is! There are great prizes to win, not to mention the great service you are providing kids and adults with disabilities across the entire state. Over 99% of the funds raised stay right here at home. Registration opens at 7am in the parking lot for the North Shore Riverwalk. The 5K Race, sanctioned and timed by the Little Rock Road Runners, will start at 8:30am. The Family Fun Walk begins at 8:35. Breakfast is served before the run, lunch and ice cream will be there while you wait for the race awards to be given out. There will be fun and gamesfor the kids and plenty of things to see and learn about Easter Seals.

Whether you walk as an individual or a team, you will be partnered with an Easter Seals Honorary Ambassador -- an Easter Seals client from your community. Your support helps make it possible for Easter Seals to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to live with equality, dignity and independence.

Easter Seals Walk With Me provides the opportunity to meet people with a disability, and learn about each person's abilities -- not just their disabilities -- and the obstacles that might get in the way of their independence. Expanding your knowledge is a step toward helping others reach their goals.
