Meet your Honorary Ambassadors

When you register for Walk With Me, you won't just receive the typical race number, wristband or t-shirt. You will be partnered with an Easter Seals honorary ambassador, a person with a disability who has benefited from Easter Seals services. You'll get to know your ambassador through photos and personal stories. And on event day, you'll even have the chance to meet your honorary ambassador!

Walk with Lily

Lily

Lily’s mom shares Lily’s story: “Lily was born with congenital hydrocephalus and an encephalocele (a skull deformity). Lily travels to Toledo once a week for physical therapy, and receives occupational therapy as well. She continues to amaze us every day with her strength and determination. Easter Seals has provided our family with two of Lily’s previous car seats, the DreamRide and the Snug Seat Car Bed. They also helped us install her most recent car seat, the Britax Decathlon, to ensure her safety while traveling.”

Walk with Margaret

Margaret

Margaret has been an Easter Seals client for over 7 years and has loved every moment of it. Margaret has 7 children, 1 grandchild and is about to be a great grandmother for the second time! She has had the same HHA, Pam, for 4 years and the two are old friends now. She loves that Pam is always laughing and smiling and is very easy going. Margaret used to crochet and has given away many potholders as gifts!
